I got to try a Polycom IP phone at work today. I can use my Gizmo Project account (1747#######@proxy01.sipphone.com) to call or forward the IP phone (#####@sip.columbia.edu) or vice versa. Obviously, this technology has a lot of potential — one way I would use the technology is to forward my IP phone to my laptop when I’m away from my desk.

A Ton of Dirt
I brought in a ton (literally) of dirt this weekend in an effort to make the back yard grass-worthy. The sod that we put down last year had to be torn up since it never really “took”. Three of us worked several hours to spread out the dense, dense top soil that was delivered in fifty 40-pound bags.
